Indications:
Oral semaglutide is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is also indicated to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in patients with established cardiovascular disease, and for long‑term weight management in overweight or obese adults.

Dosage and Administration:
Take once every morning, at least 30 minutes before the first meal or other oral medications, with no more than 120 mL of water. The starting dose is 3 mg once daily for 30 days, then increase to 7 mg once daily; if glycemic control remains inadequate, the dose may be further increased to 14 mg once daily.

Adverse Reactions:
Common adverse reactions include nausea, abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, taste disturbance, and fatigue; rare cases of serious hypersensitivity reactions have been reported.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 30 °C, protected from light, and keep out of reach of children.
