Indications:
Semaglutide (glycemic‑control formulation) is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dosage and Administration:
Administer by subcutaneous injection once weekly. Two dose levels are available (0.25 mg and 0.5 mg). The starting dose is 0.25 mg weekly for the first 4 weeks; if tolerated, increase to 0.5 mg weekly thereafter. If a dose is missed, administer within 96 hours; otherwise, skip that dose and resume the regular schedule. Rotate injection sites among the abdomen, thigh, and upper arm.

Adverse Reactions:
Common adverse reactions include nausea, abdominal discomfort, dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, taste disturbance, fatigue, and decreased appetite.

Storage:
Store refrigerated at 2 °C to 8 °C; do not freeze. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
