Indications:
Abiraterone in combination with Prednisone is indicated for the treatment of metastatic castration‑resistant prostate cancer and metastatic high‑risk castration‑sensitive prostate cancer.

Dosage and Administration:
The standard dose is 1000 mg orally once daily (either two 500 mg tablets or four 250 mg tablets), together with divided doses of Prednisone. Patients should take it on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or at least 2 hours after a meal), swallowing tablets whole; do not chew. For moderate hepatic impairment, reduce the starting dose to 250 mg once daily; if hepatotoxicity occurs during treatment, suspend therapy until recovery, then resume at an adjusted dose. Avoid co‑administration with strong CYP3A4 inducers.

Adverse Reactions:
Common adverse reactions include fatigue, arthralgia, hypertension, nausea, edema, hypokalemia, hot flashes, diarrhea, vomiting, upper respiratory tract infection, cough, and headache.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 °C, protected from light, and keep out of reach of children.
