Indications:
Finerenone is indicated to reduce the risk of sustained decline in renal function, end‑stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, non‑fatal myocardial infarction, and heart failure hospitalization in patients with chronic kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dosage and Administration:
The starting dose is 10 mg or 20 mg orally once daily, adjusted based on estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and serum potassium levels; after 4 weeks, the dose may be increased to the target daily dose of 20 mg. Tablets may be taken with or without food; for patients with difficulty swallowing, tablets may be crushed and mixed with water or soft food prior to administration.

Adverse Reactions:
Common adverse reactions include hyperkalemia, hypotension, and hyponatremia.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place below 30 °C, protected from light, and keep out of reach of children.
